Are the true freaks of nature. They start life as a tiny dot on a leaf, then transform into a caterpillar.

Now this is the really freaky part. You can still see the caterpillar shape etc.

Oh, I love these - especially the one with the fake eyes on its wings, the last two butterfly shots and the bright green caterpiller. He is so pretty!

What a beautiful collection. I have never seen some of the butterflies before, so it is a real treat for me. :) I love photographing butterflies. I really like the shadow on the last one, and the unusual green creepy crawley. :)
