Thought this was a Swallowtail on climbing rose, but now I'm not so sure. Been doing my homework and now I think it is a common crow butterfly. They are a sub family to the wanderers and are the most common butterfly in the Brisbane area. Also known as the Oleanda crow as they will lay their eggs on oleanda shrubs/trees.

Yellow. Still trying to get a photo of one with it's wings open. They are very quick.
